What is your mafia nickname?
Due to my short attention span and need for variety,
I've been dubbed "The Dabbler"
What is your craft?
I started off with two button-makers, some E6000 cancer-causing
glue and a few vintage comic books. I now travel to
bead shows for my classy semi-precious stone jewelry
and recently inherited a sewing machine. Wallets, totes,
Coffee Cardigans, Stick-Stashes (tampon cases) are all
in the works this year. If it isn't nailed down, I'll
craft with it. Now where's my welding shield?
Why do you do your craft?
My meds failed.
What are your sources of inspiration?
An idea will get stuck in my head like some bad Justin
Timberlake lyric. I gotta craft it to get it out.
What is your favorite Chicago
haunt?
I am partial to The Grind coffee shop in Lincoln Square...just
never the seats with my back to the door.
What is your favorite beverage?
Cherry Coke Zero, baby!
Where do you buy your favorite beverage?
Wherever there's a guy with a few loose dollars in his
pocket looking to artificially sweeten a gal...
How did you come up with your business name?
Let's just say you don't want to be in the same lane
of traffic as me...
What is it's significance?
Accidents can be beautiful. Often the best things in
life are unplanned.
What is your weapon of choice?
Lately, it's been the magnetic snap.
What would you be doing otherwise?
Time my friend, cold hard time
Do you have any advice for other crafters?
Make what you want to make, don't get stuck in a rut
or feel that because you spent $500 on jewelry making
supplies, you have to only make jewelry.
