Fiber related deliciousness.  Pillows that make you smile and modern embroidery.

Why do you do your craft?

Because being a Cube-Monkey was no fun.

What are your sources of inspiration?

Oh man, way too much.  My husband says I give him conversational whiplash, in the midst of a random conversation I’ll exclaim “How cool would Peanut Butter and Jelly Pillows be?!”

What is your favorite Chicago haunt?

Local storefront theatres.  I love seeing a good show, preferably preceded by good sushi.  Perfect night.

What is your favorite beverage?

Vanilla Vodka and Diet Coke… Don’t judge, it tastes like a creamsicle, I swear!

Where do you buy your favorite beverage?

Much prefer a glass at home with good company and good food.

What is your weapon of choice?

Rotary Blade, it’ll slice and dice ya.

What would you be doing otherwise?

Working for the man.

Do you have any advice for other crafters?

Create what you love, create with specificity in mind, not the mass market.  It’ll make your customers feel connected to your product and crave it.  And craving is always a good thing.
